Saturday, August 6, GES Skellefteå takes SUMMERTIME's big stage and makes its only appearance north of Sundsvall next summer.

- "To be inaugurated with GES is really a stroke of luck, and we are incredibly happy that we were able to attract such a large tour to Skellefteå, also for the premiere of our big festival." says festival general Gunnar Karlsson.

What initially started as a fun session has since their first epic single "When we dig for gold in the USA" established themselves in the Swedish public soul as one of our big supergroups. There were two GES records that sold over half a million copies and GES became a new landmark for Swedish pop music. The rest is, as they say, history. If we also include Glenmark, Orup and Nikla's solo records, we come up with millions of sold CDs, singles and vinyls and over 130 million streams on Spotify.

So when GES takes the stage on Skellefteå Summertime's big stage, our pop heroes will take you on an intimate but grand journey, filled with both GES's fantastic song treasure and of course the biggest hits from their own solo careers.

Over the years, there have been countless hits such as "She has flowers in her hair", "Then the boys stand in a row", "Om", "She is mine" and "When we dig for gold in the USA". Glenmark, Eriksson and Strömstedt - simply a piece of Swedish pop history.
